How Myanmar’s Social Enterprises Are Responding to Changes Brought by COVID-19NMDC Editor
An extremely tiny enemy of the entire world called 2019 Novel Coronavirus has expanded its battlefield to Myanmar with the first two positive cases announced on 24th March 2020. And this pandemic has not only resulting challenges to the healthcare conditions of the citizens, but also bringing about severe impacts to the social economy. The medical heroes have gone to the frontline, on the other hand, other parties and actors are trying to support the local communities of different socio-economic classes from the backlines. Among them, some of the warriors working hard and contributing with dynamic efforts to the nation to get resilient are certain social enterprises in Myanmar, as three examples listed here.
